Beauty comes in all shapes and forms and my latest interest is interiors. I love the quirky features of the Soho Hotel, where I took my Mum for Mothers day last week for a glass of vino. Designed by Kit Kemp, the hotel has a wonderful appeal that I can't quite put my finger on. Indivudally, some of the pieces are completely not my taste, from the olive green suede chairs and strange, 70s style circle patterned tables, the abundance of oversized jars with green plants... but together it just works. The staff are nice, the crowd is cool and the drinks and food are both inspired and reasonably priced for the high quality.
If ever I need a place to stay in London [unlikely, since I live here...] I will definitely be staying here [overlooking the prices of course, which start at £280 a night...eek]
